Ammiriamo a tutt&#8217;oggi il coraggio di Madre Lurana e delle prime Sorelle dell&#8217;Atonement, cos\u00ec come la loro fede sicura nell&#8217;intraprendere una nuova e incerta avventura.<br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Padre Paul Wattson raggiunse Madre Lurana a Graymoor nella primavera del 1899, dopo aver fatto il noviziato nel &#8220;Monastero della Santa Croce&#8221; nel Maryland. Profess\u00f2 i voti come frate dell&#8217;Atonement nel giugno 1899 e, contestualmente, prese il nome religioso di Paul James Francis.<br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Nel suo discorso per il &#8220;Giorno della Fondazione&#8221; del 1928, Padre Paul disse che, cos\u00ec come Maria venne prima dell&#8217;incarnazione, Madre Lurana giunse per prima a Graymoor per fondare i Franciscan Friars of the Atonement e le Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement at Graymoor.<br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">In questo giorno, pertanto, facciamo memoria della tenacia, della forza d&#8217;animo e della grazia di quelle prime suore, di Madre Lurana e di Padre Paul.<br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Che il Signore Dio continui a proteggere
